The launch event for OnePlus’ next OnePlus Ace 2 series smartphone was recently confirmed. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro smartphone will be unveiled on August 16 in China, the company has revealed. As you may remember, OnePlus released the basic Ace 2 model in all markets as the OnePlus 11R. The next smartphone’s global debut hasn’t been discussed by the firm in any detail.
Through several teases, OnePlus has started disclosing the features of the upcoming smartphone. The forthcoming device’s display and battery characteristics have lately been revealed by the company owned by the BBK group. OnePlus previously stated that the phone would have up to 24GB of RAM. The newest Wi-Fi and mobile network bands, in addition to other features, are confirmed by a new teaser posted by OnePlus. The teaser also verifies the upcoming smartphone’s primary camera specifications.
Confirmed OnePlus Ace 2 Pro specifications
According to OnePlus, the phone would have a 50MP primary Sony IMX 890 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). The leading imaging algorithm from OPPO will also be carried over to the upcoming device. The smartphone will have ProXDR technology from OnePlus, which gives a stronger dynamic contrast and enhances the vividness of photographs in conditions with high light exposure. The Ace 2 Pro smartphone will use the newest Wi-Fi 7 protocol, according to the teaser posted by OnePlus on its Weibo page.
